I use the HVR3000 and 4000, they work fine most of the time, it would be 
nice if the DVB patches made it into the mainstream kernel.
Each time Ubuntu updates the kernel it breaks my box.  The "if it's not 
broken don't update it rule" applies.
They have the added advantage of doing both S & T reception.
