Linux mercury 2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Problem is in my experience it can be hard to get a vanilla kernel going without prangs and stuff
missing which may be in an "enhanced" distro kernel.
If it's the path I have to take then so be it, I'd prefer not to though.
