You could put a piece of non-rotting string (wire or fishing line) through
a hole in the bottom plate to act as a draw string. If you've got a
concrete floor pad then you'll have to go up into the roof space.
Remember to pack any holes to keep mice/draughts out and heat in.
You could put the draw string through a conduit made from cheap plastic
pipe, but you don't want to be drilling excessively big holes through the
framing and weakening your walls. This will be required if you have
insulation in those walls, (sound or heat.)
Of course you need to mark all these locations accurately on a plan of
your house, so that you can find them again later.
