[mythtvnz] Nova-S and Tuning

I have a Nova-S Plus Card and trying to get mythtv setup to use it.

I have been following http://www.wlug.org.nz/FreeViewMythTvSetup

and nearly have it.

I seem to have a newer LNB setup so use (As 1183000 doesn't work)

dvbtune -f 1733000 -s 22500 -p h
or
dvbtune -f 1733000 -s 22500 -p h -pnr TVNZ
and it finds all the channels
or
dvbtune -f 1733000 -s 22500 -p h -x

but if I use -m I get FRONTEND not available errors

but if I go dvbstream -f 1733 -s 22500 -p h -o 512 650 | mplayer -
I can view Stargate ok. (and other channels when I change the PID's)

Also in mythtv when I try and tune with these values on the faq it cannot 
find anything
      TVNZ   12483000   22500000
       CanWest/Other   12456000   22500000

(are these 1183000 correspond to the 12483000 and  12456000 for example??)

This card has multiple inputs (SVIDEO and Composite so this may be confusing 
it?), but dvbstream works?
