Mine's a DSR2000 but Dagan has a DSR600 (if you search the MythTV NZ 
list archives).

One thing to be wary of, is that holding the transmitter while you 
are playing seems to affect the signal.  If I was holding it, found 
the right place, then sat back on the couch and tried it again, it 
never worked.   Also is he certain that the transmitter is working? 
Has it got the visible LED, or is he checking with a camera phone?
