Well I've got it all working - sort of. Like Nick I'm sharing a dish with
a Sky box so I'm only using vertical transports at the moment.
What I really want to do with the EPG is get the on-air data (EIT) for the
radio channels but continue to use the EPG for 1, 2 & Maori from the Sky
epgsnoop input. This will ensure that the Sky and FTA versions of TV 1 and
2 have the same data so the scheduler works correctly.
I've found that if I elect to use the EIT as the grabber for the source,
the xmltv field in the channel setup is greyed out. If I set no grabber
for the source then setting 'Use on-air data' doesn't seem to do anything.
Am I missing something here or can I not split where the EPG data comes
from on a single source input - either EIT or XMLTV but not a selection
of either on a per channel basis.
BTW: I'm running SVN r13756M & a SkyStar 2 card.
Cheers
