[mythtvnz] DVB-S - record more than one channel with the same card?

Is it possible to get myth to record more than one channel at once with
a DVB-S card. For example using dvbstream I can record an arbitrary
number of pids to a .ts file (provided they are on the same mux, and I
have sufficient disk I/O bandwidth). I can also switch them in and out.

I can then use a combination of tspids, ts2ps, projectx to produce
watchable ps files.
