I am acutely aware of the irony of forwarding this commercial email to the
list so shortly after our recent discussion on that topic, however I
figure that there is really only one supplier of these cards in NZ that I
know of, he is offering our group a discount and it seems of potential
benefit to everyone on the list. Please note that I did run this past
Steve Ellis before forwarding to the list, given that it was a query about
one of Steve's posts that led to the recent discussion. So anyway, read
on!

Hi Nick, I hope you are enjoying your Skystar 2 card. I was hoping you might
be able to let the Linux community in NZ know that if they email me direct i
can supply a Skystar 2 card without having to pay the trademe fees, this
would represent a $10 saving on the trademe price (i.e. $135 plus delivery
for a Skystar 2 including the USB remote receiver).



In addition Technisat have intimated that there is a price increase on the
horizon in the new year, so it will definitely be a case of first come,
first served at the current price, my margins are very small and i'll have
to pass on the likely increase.
