I've got a Hauppauge Nova-S Plus.

I've not had it for long, and haven't done anything with the svideo input, but 
the satellite input seems to work fine.  I appear to be getting strong signal 
locks.

The driver is a bit buggy in that you don't get signal strength output per 
transponder (I think that is the problem, have a look through recent posts by 
me if you care).

It seems to be quite a warm little chap even at idle.  Mind you I don't have 
experience with other sat cards so I don't know how it compares to the 
SkyStar 2.

No trouble getting the EPG through it.

I haven't played around with the bundled remote, but apparently it is 
supported by lirc.
