[mythtvnz] Mythbackend crashes

Have you tried leaving the unit playing via mplayer or xine?

1. Shutdown mythbackend and mythfrontend

2. Make sure you have an approrpriate channel map for xine or mplayer

3. mplayer dvd://

4. Leave another terminal window open running top

5. Wait - Even try leaving it like this overnight.

That should sort out if it is the dvb driver or MythTV.
