Hi all, I finally decided to join the list after lurking for a couple of
months. 

I decided to go low budget on my first Myth TV system, I've got the
following setup...

- combined frontend/backend running Debian unstable on Dell 2.4GHz Celeron
- nVidia GeForce MX4000 TV-out card
- EPG from xmlTVNZ running under Mono
- cheap and nasty capture card - Prolink Pixelview PlayTV Pro
PV-BT878P+9X (software encoding)
- IR blaster controlling Sky Digital box
- 2 frontends (bedroom and rumpus room)

On the wishlist are a Hauppauge PVR card and a bigger hard disk in the
backend, currently only 40GB :-(
