Hey, if your happy with it that's all that matters.

Personally I went the other way - audio first. I already had a 29" CRT
TV and at the time (3 or so years ago) 42" plasmas were still too
expensive for my liking. I decided that anything less than 42" wasn't
worth the upgrade based on the fact that we still watch a lot of 4:3
content. A 29" 4:3 picture is 17.4" tall. A 42" 16:9 display is 20.5"
tall, a 36" is 17.6" tall, and a 32" is 15.7" tall. Only a 42"
widescreen TV gives a significant improvement in picture height over a
29" 4:3 TV for 4:3 content.

So I decided to spend money on a surround system. This was a bit
illogical given that it's only really useful for movies and even a 32"
widescreen is considerably larger than a 29" 4:3 for widescreen
content. But I could do the audio piecemeal which suited better than
spending a lot on a TV in one go. And I do listen to a lot of music so
audio is important to me.
