Steve, I think the main issue with stability using DVB-S is when it's in
combination with a PVR-x50 card=2E My system was running fine on just my P=
VR
card until I installed a twinhan DVB-S card=2E The ivtv drivers lock up
completely sometimes=2E I'm only speculating here but I think it could be =
an
issue with I2C conflicts or a driver conflict=2E
Maybe we should also work on gathering information on the crashes
experienced and create a bug ticket for the developers=2E

Ok the DTH (ie DVB-S) testing for myPVR is going well, and I appear to
be very stable at the moment=2E Got the old B1 transponder for TVNZ+Maori
etc, plus some of the radio channels off the Sky transponders=2E Shame
George isn't in the clear, and I'll be contacting them about that this wee=
k=2E
So given the backend stability reports over the last six months I'd like
to gauge how we are all getting on and possible find a cause for the
issues=2E Can people just provide the following=2E Note SN is Signal/Noise=
ratio=2E
Who / Backend Version / Captue Card / Signal Strength / SN / stability
OpenMedia / 0=2E20 fixes / SkyStar 2 / 80-83% / 4=2E7 / stable
