Hi folks

Happy new year.

There were some excellent balls over XMAS. Perhaps my favourite was Sue's festive Ball at Lancing. She was able to announce her next dance at Christ's Hospital in Horsham (locally known as the Blue Coats School), their dining room is stunning. Apparently
Sue has already sold 80 tickets, which is amazing as the dance is in May!

There a new venue opening this week at the charming Park Langley club in Beckenham this Friday.  I visited it at a private party recently and it has a excellent dancefloor and will make a great, if small venue.

This is the weekend of the Bognor Regis weekend. With the similar format as Camber, of day lessons and evening balls over the weekend, it uses 3 dancefloors and attracts a wide range of teachers that give up their time for free. It my first time there, so
I'll report back next week. Predictably, there's not much else on, except for Katy's excellent Rebel Roc.

A quick reminder, Croydon Ceroc is on tonight, but Orpington is shut tomorrow 8th Jan. Rebel Roc is back now so including Tunbridge Wells tonight and Guildford civic tomorrow.

-- Excellent large venue, ideal for dancing
