Hi folks

Some good workshops coming up next weekend to look out for including
Viktor & Lydia who are probably the best modern jive teachers in the co=
untry.

>From Peter Philips:
There is a dance workshop in Eastbourne on Sunday 15th Sept for interme=
diate [and above] dancers.
Peter and Alina will be teaching their new Salsa-Jive moves for the fir=
st time in a workshop format.
Two sessions:-
12.00 till 2.15 - Salsa Jive new moves taken from salsa and adapted for=
 the modern-jiver
2.30   till 5.00 - Drops and Seducers - Intermediate level, More new dr=
ops and seducers from Peter,
probably the country's leading teacher of these moves, which can be inc=
orporated into the Salsa-Jive routine.
Each session is =A310pp or=A315pp if both are booked.
Fixed couples [no rotation], but we are keeping a list of dancers requi=
ring partners.

most intermediate moves. The workshop will include developing style tip=
s and new interesting moves
for your dance portfolio. Anybody who has been to a Viktor & Lydia work=
shop will agree that you
come away with a fresh appetite after been taught simplistic but devast=
ating moves in such a way
that they can only enhance your reputation on the dance floor! The Suss=
ex Jive Charity Ball (The
 Great hall) will precede the workshop and is filling up nicely. If any=
 one would like tickets they are
=A310 in advance =A312 on the door. Doors open at 8pm with a ice breake=
r lesson at 8.20 till 9.15 from
Viktor & Lydia followed by dancing until 1am to the stompin' sounds of =
Steve 'The  Hitman' Strong.
There will be a break during the evening for a cabaret by Viktor & Lydi=

-- Excellent venue, highly recommended

**LeRoc, The King Alfred Ballroom, Kingsway, Hove Seafront
-- Good venue, popular with the Brighton crowd

**Rebel Roc, HG Wells, Church St. East, Woking
-- Great modern venue, ideal for dancing
