Hi folks

Some well deserved fame for Broadbridge heath favorite Andy McGregor. If you
want to catch their act get down to the Marletts on Saturday...

You may not have heard this yet.  Ben Borego and I entered the Intermediate
section of the Modern Jive Open Championships in Blackpool at the weekend.
As 2 guys entering we had to think of an appropriate theme.  So we entered
as Milk Tray delivery guys - as in the advert.  At the start of our first
heat we walked on in our black outfits with 6 boxes of milk tray and 6 red
roses which we distributed to women in the audience where the judges could
see us.  Then we gave the last 2 boxes and roses to Marilene and Nina who
were judges!

We only did it as a bit of a laugh but our routine went down brilliantly
with the audience who were right behind us cheering every time we wiggled
our hips.  Literally hundreds of people congratulated us afterwards (I told
the women I might be prepared to try sex with a woman but I didn't think it
was really my cup of tea!).  We didn't think we would get through the first
round but we actually made it to the final and got the bronze medal.  We
were chuffed with that but still loads of people told us we were robbed of
the gold...

We've now been booked to do cabaret at Dance Weekenders in Dorset and North
Wales (that makes us international Cabaret Stars...).  Also, we're doing our
Milk Tray Cabaret for Graham at his dance at the Martletts in Burgess Hill
on Saturday 16th.  No one is more surprised than us that this routine is
such a crowd pleaser - but it is.  So don't miss it.

Please publicise this event to the CCs.  If they miss it on the 16th they'll
have to go all the way to Wales for the next performance (also Ben and I are
now addicted to the applause and want the audience to be as big as
possible).

Please also Note Paul Weaver has another gig, info attached at end of main text.
DavidW and gang of friends will be down at the Rivoli. Others of us have yet to
decide...

Friday 15th March

**LeRoc, Fairlands, Fairlands, Guildford (off A23)
-- Friendly Leroc Venue, popular with the Guildford crowd

**Jag Jive, the Borough Hall, GODALMING, Surrey, 8pm - midnight
-- no class, just mix of modern, classics, swing and blues
-- Soft juice bar, bring your own booze.

Saturday 16th March
**Jive Party, Rivoli Ballroom.350 Brockley Rd, Crofton Park, London SE4
-- Classic old fashion ballroom venue, attracts experienced dancers from Jive, lindy and swing

**LeRoc, Martlets Hall, Civic Way, Burgess Hill
-- Greta modern venue which includes:
-- SPECIAL Cabaret by ANDY (Mad4Dancer and known to many BBH regulars) & BEN placed finalists UK Jive Championships
-- also Graham & Sarah placed finalists in 2 events !
