Hi folks
This is the weekend of the Monster Jive cocktail in Farnham, popular wi=
th the hardcore dancers.
Andy dropped me a line about his new venture "Rocstar" which runs every=
Tuesday from 7:30pm at Elm
Grove School, Elm Grove, Brighton. Mikey, the South Coast's Cheekiest T=
eacher, is teaching.
> Our first Tuesday at Brighton was a great success. We didn't adverti=
se
> the fact (because we aren't after freeloaders) but we provided free C=
hampagne
> (Moet) and Chocolate to everyone who came - and they loved it! The f=
eedback
> has been good, one customer emailed me today to say that the venue wa=
s
> equal to City Gate but the music was better than Tuesdays there in te=
rms of both
> choice of music and sound quality. One woman said that there were a =
few
> women over so she occasonally had to wait for a dance - but it was wo=
rth the
> wait because the men were a much higher standard than she's used to (=
I hope

>From John Miller of Jag Jive
We're back from holiday and raring to go!
Just a quick reminder that our next dance is at the Borough Hall,
Godalming, next FRIDAY, 21st JUNE. We'll have the usual great
mix of modern, blues and swing music, with something for everyone.
As ever, it is really helpful if you can let us know in advance
whether or not you are coming.
Usual low price of =A35 in advance, =A36 on the door.
(anyone holding a ticket for MJC can get in for just =A34).
A very belated "Thank You" to everyone who told us how much they
enjoyed the music we did at Camber in May, on all three nights
but especially the downstairs session on Sunday night.
Any questions, suggestions, etc. please call (01372 457583)
or email jag_jive@hotmail.com.
