Hi folks

The highlight this weekend is undoubtably the Summer beach ball at the Dorking Halls with a range of good DJs and other attractions. I here there's also a dance on Saturday at Westerham - does anyone on the list have better details?

Katy from Rebel Roc has a busking session this Saturday 13th July in the County Mall Shopping Centre, Crawley from 12 noon until 3pm, which sounds like great fun. More information attached to the end of the main text.

Paul Weaver also has a new gig at Rockwells - details attached.

This weekend's recommendations are:

Fri 12th July
**Rebel Roc, Civic Hall, The Boulevard, Crawley, Susssex, 8-12
-- Rebel Roc's newest venue with good atmosphere

**Ceroc, The Corn Exchange, High Street, Rochester 8-12
-- Fantastic ornate venue


Sat 13th July
**LeRoc Summer Beach Ball Theme "Loud, Colourful or Beach" The Grand Hall, Dorking Halls, Reigate Rd, Dorking
-- Three DJ's confirmed, LeRoc's own Colin Shaul, plus these two Top Dj's Peter Phillips R&B , Blues & Swing
-- Specialist, Kelly Donoghue, Southampton Top Modern Jive & Swing DJ

**Jive??, The Grasshopper, Westerham Road (A25), Westerham
-- Good venue, although smallish dance floor - does anyone have any more info???

Katy from Rebel Roc sends this:
We are indeed busking this Saturday 13th July in the County Mall Shopping
Centre, Crawley from 12 noon until 3pm.  This is followed by our traditional
bun fight (I get to buy everyone as much tea, coffee and cream cakes as they
can eat!!!) as we chill out in a local tea shop.  If anyone is interested in
supporting us either by dancing and/or handing out leaflets, that would be
great.  If they wear black (or dark) trousers, we will supply the bright
green Rebel Roc t-shirt so they don't get their own tops sweaty!
