Hello everyone,
Sincere apologies if this information is of no interest to
you, but we've had quite a few requests for directions to our
Saturday night dance in Great Bookham and the easiest, fastest
way to handle this is via a blanket email.

The hall is an attractive venue with lovely oak beams etc. but
it is set back from the road and it is a little hard to find
if you don't know the area. Directions from various points are
below.

Just a reminder, we aren't licenced at this venue. We sell
soft drinks, bottled water and juice at cost. You are welcome
to bring in your own beer or wine. The floor is fast, we
recommend leather soles, not suede. 7:45-11:45, £5 in advance.
We'll be playing the usual stonking mix of modern, swing, blues
and classics, and are happy to take requests.

FROM GUILDFORD - approx 15 mins
Take the Epsom road A246 out of Guildford, towards Leatherhead.
Stay on the main road, bypassing the villages of West and East
Clandon, West and East Horsley, and Effingham. As you come into
Great Bookham look for 30 mph sign, then green footbridge over
road. Take 2nd left, down the High Street - signposted Parking
Short Term, Shops, Library. Go straight across at the cross-
roads, by the church. The hall is about 300 yds further down
on the left, set back from the road - look for white stone
boundary walls.

FROM EPSOM, LEATHERHEAD
Take the Leatherhead by-pass towards Guildford. As you come
into Great Bookham, pass Esso garage on right, then approx. a
quarter mile further on, turn right down the High Street
- signposted Parking Short Term, Shops, Library. Go straight
across at the cross-roads, by the church. The hall is about
300 yds further down on the left, set back from the road
- look for white stone boundary walls.

FROM M25 (East Surrey and Kent)
Exit at junction 9. Follow signs for A24 Dorking and Guildford,
for 3-4 miles. At the Givons Grove roundabout - Texaco garage
on the roundabout - go straight on, signposted Guildford. Then
follow directions above from Epsom and Leatherhead.

FROM DORKING AND HORSHAM
Take the A24 North from Dorking. Stay on this road for approx.
5 miles until you come to the Givons Grove roundabout. Turn
left, signposted Guildford. Then follow directions above from
Epsom and Leatherhead.
