Hello fellow dancers=20
It has been some time since our last Mencap charity dance and also a =
flood of emails from myself. Which means the next one is starting to =
come over the horizon.

Viktor & Lydia Advance Jive Workshop during the day of: Sat 14th =
September 10 till 4pm Pre to the evening dance
Partner is required so no rotation.All dancers must feel confident with =
all the intermediate moves and feel capable to move on to more =
complicated moves at a quicker pace Cost =A325 per person
If anyone has seen these two dance it's enough to put a smile on your =
face. With their own slick and effortless movements which when put all =
together creates a combination of moves to die for
This workshop has limited numbers which will enable you to have a more =
one to one close up and interaction with Viktor and Lydia rather than =
the ' where's my binoculars !

Dates for Mencap charity dances 2003
My dates for 2003 for the charity dances have now been finalised. These =
are below. After talking to various experienced teachers and dj,s over =
the last 4 months as well as lot of behind the scenes movements the =
final plans and dots and eyes have been crossed for the first of the 4 =
events which will be 2 days of workshops and dances bringing together =
some of the best teachers for jive,swing and lindy=20
Here is the 4 dates as well as a quick brief on the first one which will =
wet your appetite. On paper it looks like a cracking event with lots =
of buzz and a great atmosphere guaranteed

After several months of bringing this event together with the help of =
numerous people including those involved so far, most of the dotting of =
the i's and crossing of the t's have now been done.Below is a taster of =
what is install, as we have more people coming on board all the time =
this can only make the event even better if that is possible!.
We have been able to take over the whole of Hove town hall for 2 days =
which means 3 dance floors including the Great Hall & Banqueting Suite.
There will be numerous workshops held over the 2 days with some of the =
best teachers from around the country all under one roof as well as 2 =
fantastic evening dances.
TEACHERS BOOKED AND CONFIRMED SO FAR ARE CHAMPIONS, FINALISTS OR =
RENOWNED SPECIALISTS IN THERE OWN FIELD AND FOR ONE WEEKEND ONLY.. UNDER =

The 2 Evening dances Will be held in 2 Rooms consisting of Regular =
Modern jive music as well as a Swing Lindy & Blues room.

As numbers are limited and this event will cost considerably more than =
the normal charity dances that is put on we have kept the whole package =
down to a unbelievable price considering the talent performing and the =
amount workshops available.
So we need lots of people to show an interest,to book and show =
commitment as I can guarantee 'a good time will be had by =

For 36 workshops, 26 renowned teachers and dj's, 2/3 dance floors,Stalls =
selling various dance related material, 2 evening dances ,22 hrs of =
moving and grooving your feet plus mini sweets and choc ices at the =
