Colin Shaul, co-founder with Christine Macleod, classes at Friends Provident
Social Club in Pixham Lane, Dorking (plus one home of Surrey's LeRoc famous
Friday Freestyles) and the Top venue Dorking Halls, Reigate Rd, Dorking (the
home of the Best Balls around. In 2002 Valentines, Summer & The Black Ball).
Part of the same team as in Guildford, Aldershot and Farnborough these are
the people who started the modern jive dance nights 7 years ago in Surrey.
Yes there were classes but we started the real dances, many dancers have
come and gone and noticeable others have gone on to start their own dances
some successful, some bloody disasters, some taking liberties, some putting
on fantastic nights. We are glad to been there from the start and we are
still strong.

  To celebrate Christmas, the last class of 2001 here, Colin is subsidising
in bringing the fantastic band "The Jive Cats" to this venue. Booked minutes
after finishing last years set at Christmas, they were so good, THERE BACK.
many people have been put off by inferior bands, these are not one of them,
the know the modern jive scene.

Warm up class from 7.45pm then intermediate fun class, freestyle and the
band plus Christmas Celebrations. So cheap at £8 non members or £7 for
members,... be there.

21st December  Friends Provident Social Club Pixham Lane, Dorking

This is the party to go to, such was the success last year we going to do it
again and better. We know there may be another choice on the night but if
you want a successful venue, experienced DJs
top music of the day plus some blues, swing & jive and a top party night,
why go any where else.

We are providing a massive 50ft high Christmas Tree, Santa Claus and Sleigh,
Buffet food, tea & coffee and cakes, choices, mince pies, festive
celebrations, top DJ and music, the best sound systems, brilliant
atmosphere, experienced dancers travelling in from Reading, Bristol,
Newcastle(yes!) Portsmouth, London and of course local and yes there is more
but only will you know if you are there.
