Hi folks

First of all thanks to Nik for his party and all those members of the list that turned up to
ensure it went with a swing. Steve and Angeline also made a good job with the music - something
to think about should you wish to throw such a party.

As for this weekend, there's Fairlands on Friday and a choice between the Martlets, Rebel Roc
in Tonbridge Wells and the King Alfred. I'm certainly going to be dancing, but still to decide...

This week's recommendations are:

Friday, 17th August
*LeRoc, Fairland Flg Centre, off Aldershot Rd (A323), Guildford
-- Small friendly venue


Saturday, 18th August
**Rebel Roc, Watson Village Hall, Langton Green, Nr. Tunbridge Wells, Kent, 8 - 11:30
-- unknown venue to me, but bound to be fun

**Freestyle Frenzie, Martlets Hall, Civic Way, Burgess Hill, Sussex (off A23) 8:30 - 1am
-- Great modern venue, excellent dance floor

**Evolution, King Alfred Hall, Hove
-- Good older venue, although I'm not yet familiar with Evolution dance
