Unless you're running a multi-tenant hypervisor or server facing the
'net without a 2nd gen firewall in front these side channel attacks are
extremely unlikely to be an issue.  If you spent the money on a
hyperthreading CPU chucking away 40% of your performance due to a
vulnerability with no current demonstrated exploit you might also be
interested in some tinfoil hats, and the left-handed long waits they
sell at Blackwells.  :-)
