Ok, well I've seen a picture of the idlers. It seems that their size and
operation is not critical. Can you use a sprocket from a bicycle wheel? I
don't know if the chain is the same size as a bicycle chain.

Alternatively, I don't think they need teeth. How about a roller with
flanges each side? Just like a pulley, but with a flat U-groove instead of
a V-groove? Perhaps this has been discussed to death on the forums already.

I'll let you know when the parts get here and I can tell you about anything
in the box if it helps you find an alternative.
