Hello everyone,

Good turnout, with 18 attendees, and a couple of new members; welcome.

$22 collected and transferred to BR05 account. Associated loose change
is in the Robotics loose-change box.

With thanks on behalf of the group,

Mark Atherton

============

Huge interest in the ‘new pile’ of goodies on both the BR05 trading
table, and the estate table (being managed on behalf of ZL3AO). $$ have
been collected and deposited in the appropriate collection places.

Andy brought along a 6kW UPS, along with curiosity about how he might
use it for charging a Prious! He also brought along a home-made
multi-cell Li-Ion battery charger/conditioner/tester.

Peter Harris brought his three-phase variant of the solar-diverter project.

Ivo brought in a multi-killowatt ABB VSD, which caused some interest,
especially the melted three-phase input connector. Andy will hopefully
report on repair of his new acquisition in due course.

David Bourke brought along some automotive electronics to discuss; quite
an in-depth presentation about some of his repair techniques and
strategies. Most interesting.

Robin Gilks talked about his latest opto-TRIAC based solenoid
controller, and associated openWRT based controller. Also, he brought in
some home-made weather station equipment.

Volker gave us an update on a local supplier of coloured gels. He also
mentioned some experience with the purchase of 18650 cells.

Mike B talked about the availability of some electrical metering equipment.

William gave us an update on his watch project.
