Hello everyone,

Good early turnout with 24 attendees, and lots of huddles-of tech-talk.
$29 collected and transferred to BR05 account.

Questions continue about the Trading Table; yes donations are very
welcome, but no CRT based product, printers or toner.

With thanks on behalf of the group,

Mark Atherton

==================

Ben turned up early with a home-made Theramin! He spent some time
explaining the electrical design. Lovely piece of construction.

William brought along his home built 8 bit, discrete processor with 16
bytes of, memory. Don’t worry, expansion to the full 256 byte complement
is planned.

Rudy hauled/staggered in with HP C7000 Blade server; around 2008
vintage. The lights dimmed when he switched it on. Rather an impressive
fan demo associated with the unit. Rudy spent some time discussing what
he learned since acquiring this unit.

Spencer brought along some LED arrays (including some 2D). He described
in detail some of the control, and display technology. He also
demonstrated a real time wireless network application, with LED indicators.

Synco demonstrated a LIDAR unit, which has just acquired from a
KickStarter project. He managed to scan the room OK with a demo application.

Volker wandered in wrapped up in a stylish ‘wearable-art’ pair of
LED-shirt-trousers.

Darren brought in, and talked about his ChiP based, NZ$100 laptop. Very
interesting and low cost product.

Henry brought in, and talked about his electric bicycle.
