Same ;-)

As I said, the manufacturer links have links for how to spot that.

- All Sean Store is listed as fake
- The PCB image says "DSO sheii" instead of "DSO shell", and there are
comments on the JYE forum that Aliexpress doesn't even return money
because they're too stupid to work out what a fake is and don't bother
looking at all the evidence supplied. And if the seller says "orignal"
then that's not the same as "original"...

FAKE FAKE FAKE!
 Brand Name: KKMOON

From
http://www.jyetech.com/Products/LcdScope/e138.php
List of sellers who were reported selling counterfeit DSO138 kits
to
http://www.jyetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=497
Amazon Sellers: KKmoon

OK so that's for the DSO138, but any production that was fake for DSO138
isn't going to get better for the DSO112A, is it...

Conclusion: Anything that says kkmoon on aliexpress is a ripoff. As I
see it, all the listings for DSO112A on Aliexpress that were cheaper
than buying the original elsewhere were fakes.

AFAICT there are 2 useful ways of buying a DSO112A:

http://www.accudiy.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_4
(linked from manufacturer page) US$59 (+pp?)

banggood.com (US$69.47, but includes shipping)
https://www.banggood.com/DSO112A-Upgrade-Version-2MHz-Touch-Screen-TFT-Digital-Mini-Handheld-Oscilloscope-With-Battery-p-977991.html

There is value in supporting the manufacturer, who very kindly supplies
schematics, most source code, etc, and get components with a quality
good enough by the original design. Maybe even the touchscreen works
better...
