===========

Mark A gave a quick VSD motor control talk and demo. A single phase 230V
fed a PDL VSD, then drove a half HP 3 phase motor.

He also talked about the Klystron Amplifier project, and associated 2kV PSU.

===========

Mark B brought in his new Keysight logging DMM, rated to IR67; quite an
amazing piece of equipment with bluetooth connectivity, to mention but
one feature.

He also talked about his latest Shed article along with a wireless
temperature sensor project.

===========

Winston talked about some very low cost 8:2 leadscrews, and associated
fasteners he had purchased.

===========

Peter Harris spent some time talking about LiPo battery pack care and
feeding.

===========

Kieran (new member) talked about his recent experiences with the Arduino
environment, and several motion detection applications. He also asked
for feedback on his work and presentation. Both very promising.

===========

William talked about the continued development of the watch, and his
migration to a larger processing platform. Also discussed possibility of
time synchronization using various mechanisms.

===========

Henry Allison talked about, and demonstrated the PocketChip gaming
package. The system includes a US$9 Linux engine. Quite extraordinary
price point on this product.

===========

[offline] Robin Gilks & Mark Beckett talked through some of the issues
of submersibles pumps, and associates control issues

===========

[offline] Synco brought in his 3D VR adaptor and demonstrated some like
shoot-em video apps.
