Assuming that subscribers to this list are tech savvy, by whatever level
of that, you knew what you were doing when you bought that Samsung Dumb
TV(TM). Thanks for sharing the experience. Good on you for holding
Harvey Norman to it (when will they stop selling those tellies because
they're getting them all back?).

Scarier is what happens to the non tech-savvy. And it's well known that
Samsung TVs transmit more about what happens in the living room than
what the telly puts into it. Ooh, we have the perfect spy station in
everyones' house, now what can we do with it?

Anyone have a copy of that '95 desktop screenshot joke back in the days,
where the IE icon was labelled "porn"? Can't find it. But nothing much
has changed. "Internet savvy" among under-30s is defined not much
differently to "can twatter and faceplant"... and the adults are
catching up fast ;-)
