hang on to the gears as it will soon be  the way of the typewriter and  replaced with  motors and gears will be old stuff not available
kids and mecano  sort of thing in the future

      Mark Venter <mventer at xtra.co.nz> has 5 small-ish laser
      printers to give away - they look in reasonable condition, but
      assume they are all for stripping and parts only.
