Thanks Peter for the offer,
From my perspective and I am sure many of those in The Group, the most
valuable information you could impart to us from your experience as a
professional installer would be Industry Best Practices, or better, the
Industry Best Practices that matter. Tips and tricks; The Do's and Dont's
you have gleaned from many installs, successes and failures.

Another reality of solar is that we mostly buy whole panels and in most
cases it is cheapest to buy whole controllers from the likes of Aliexpress
etc. So a sales pitch may not be out of the question. Bearing in mind that
we are all DIY'ers, I think the value to us as a group is
as-close-to-wholesale prices on panels etc.
(and or) Your experience importing and the pitfalls etc could also be an
interesting topic for the group.

I am looking forward to the day I can afford to put 6kW+ on my roof so I
can charge my eV in winter! (6kW is what I need according to solarview)

There is a conflict of interests here in that I run a business importing
> solar equipment and I would like to invite ~10 customers to attend. The
> talk would be on the practical aspects of installation and include pictures

On a related note, I think it would be _Very_ interesting to all of us to
hear from the physicists in the materials group who were (maybe still are)
working on triband solar, which _will_ be the next big thing. I am sure we
can convince Roger Reeves (???) to come and talk, unless all this is
sensitive now.

Just my $5

Jasper
