Some strength required, wood or acrylic is plenty. Out in the rain, so
MDF is a dead idea. The shape is not so critical, untreated pine that
warps a bit is OK.

Come to think of it, some toy wheels might do the trick. Getting them
from aliexpress before Christmas is pushing it though.
