Thanks to Peter for a most interesting presentation. The fount of his

It's made by a Swiss in Canada, and indeed very good.

The book "Batteries in a Portable World: A Handbook on Rechargeable
Batteries for Non-Engineers" is available for sale. Unfortuantely, it is
only available in a vendor-lock-in version. The dead-tree version is
pretty expensive. 3rd ed Aug 2011

A lot of the articles on the site are borrowed from the book, but I
expect there'll be extra content in the book and extra articles since
the book was published.
