I mentioned to a couple of people last night about a wifi module I'd
recently purchased from Mouser Electronics for $48

It has an embedded SPARC 32 bit processor with full TCP/IP stack
presenting interfaces on 10 I/O lines, 8 analog lines, UART and SPI.
