Re the debugging....

The simple programmers do not support 1-wire debug - or even jtag for
that matter - they only support SPI programming.

The 1-wire protocol is not just for the Tiny parts. ATMEGA48 etc only
support 1-wire debug.

Atmel never published the 1-wire protocol. I don't know if anyone
reverse engineered it. 1-wire debug works by wiggling the reset line.

I have a JtagICE2 that anyone can borrow if they want to do debugging.
Currently on loan to Jimmy.
