'Urro,

Some context for what the rack rail query is about:

I need to mount that stack of gear + another 1u in something portable enough to lug around during Kidsfest next week. Portable being relative, it's gonna weigh 50kg+.

It's an 'FM radio station in a box'. I shifted the gear out of the rack (real one) in my 'studio' (shed) so I can help twenty 10 year old kids play DJ next week. One of those 'Why did I agree to this' type things. Kick me sign, no life, etc. :-)

Cheers, Me.

Subject: [chbot] 19" rack rails...

A bit of a random question, but figured this was the best place to ask. :)

I'm on the hunt for some standard 19" rack mounting rails.... The bits
that go either side of the rack to clip the blind nuts into.

I want to make a customer rack/stand for some 19" gear by mounting the
rails to some MDF.

So...

Anyone know where you can buy the stuff, or alternately, anyone got some
old rack components lying around I can magpie? :-)

FYI: I need 10U high/long bits..

Cheers, Chris H
