[chbot] How do I cast a Robotic Finger?

Can't suggest any suppliers of rubber for casting.

But can suggest one thing to definitely _not_ do.  Don't use plaster of 
paris to make a cast.  If you get the mix 'just right' it can be 
aggressively exothermic as it goes off and can get real hot.

Also, some silicone compounds used for industrial casting are toxic, 
make sure it's meant for skin contact.  I have some silicone casting 
rubber here and the warnings on the catalyst for it are longer than the 
instructions!  Just the smell of the stuff I've got is enough to put you 
off though!

Makeup/staging companies should be able to point in you in the right 
direction.
