As for other forums well No, and yes.

Our meetings are attracting more numbers than before, and there is heaps of
discussion taking place at those. Some of our old faithful members have
moved away, some are busy, come back everyone else we need you!

Canterbury Uni have the mechatronics course:

Brightsparks have an active nationanl mailing list: www.brightsparks.org.nz
under the ETITO banner for those around school age and Robocup Junior
generate heaps of youthful energy http://www.robocupjunior.org.nz/ not to
mention the robotics sessions at Science Alive.

However Christchurch Robotics mailing list continues to be the one genuine
place to meet and discuss stuff. I guess the deafening silence is due to
people being busy building. More of that in my next post....
