Took the plunge this morning and did an in place upgrade of Mythbuntu 14.04.1<br>
to 16.04.1.<br>

The install went smoothly and currently recording a random program to make<br>
sure the tuners loaded OK. Seems fine.<br>
<br>
Things that didn't work:<br>
1. Mythweb didn't work off the bat - had to install the php-db package to make<br>
it work. Once I had figured out that it seems to be OK.<br>
2. Plexmediaserver worked fine but plexWatch web interface didn't. You need to<br>
install the packages php-sqlite3 and php7.0-sqlite3 and then that seems to be<br>
OK.<br>
3. KODI - THIS DOESN'T WORK. You can't install without removing your entire<br>
mythtv install...<br>
<br>
Kodi requires libtag1v5 while mythtv requires libtag1c2a. If you try to<br>
install libtag1v5 then you are asked to remove all the following packages:<br>

libmyth-0.28-0 libtag1-vanilla libtag1c2a mytharchive mythbrowser mythbuntu-<br>
bare-client  mythbuntu-desktop mythgallery mythmusic mythnetvision mythnews<br>
mythtv mythtv-backend  mythtv-backend-master mythtv-common mythtv-database<br>
mythtv-dbg mythtv-frontend mythtv-theme-mythbuntu mythtv-transcode-utils<br>
mythweather mythweb<br>
