As well as updating your MythTV channels, you will also need to change<br>
the *.xmltv files in /home/<mythtv user>/.mythtv to reflect the<br>
changed and new xmltvids.  You can make those files from the<br>
channels.conf files by stripping out everything except the xmltvid<br>
values and then adding "channel=" (or "channel!") in front of each<br>
xmltvid value, or using something like this SQL command on your<br>
mythconverg database:<br>

  select concat('channel=', xmltvid)<br>
    where sourceid=<your Sky souceid>;<br>
<br>
Once you have set up the new config files, you will need to fetch the<br>
EPG and run mythfilldatabase to populate all the channels with the<br>
correct EPG.<br>
<br>
As part of the process of doing these channel updates, I have now got<br>
scripts to help the process, so I can run the channel scans, then run<br>
the scripts and they will load the scans into a new table in<br>
mythconverg and do comparisons to help automate the changes.  If<br>
anyone wants to have a copy of those, please let me know.<br>
