I'm replacing a 2TB drive with bad sectors to a new 3TB drive. My other two 2TB media drives have been formatted EXT4. I've not been aware that's been an issue however in view of the preferrment of XFS I am thinking of formatting this new drive as XFS. I don't see how that would cause an issue, can anyone comment?<div class="HOEnZb">

If you have a 3G drive, it is likely to have 4k sectors, make sure your partitions are properly aligned. If you don't know about this, there is plenty on the net about it :)<br>
