Some of the files seem to be owned by root and in the root group<br>

 Find_orphans.py - where does that usually hide?<br></blockquote><div><br>An alternative to changing the owner is to change permissions, e.g. chmod 777 <filename>.<br><br>If you've deleted the files then deleting the recording in MythTV should remove the database entry even though it can't find the recording file to delete.<br>
