I have finally got the DVD to play properly in the DVD drive.<br>
<br>
I have to copy the mythbuntu kernel configuration to my .37 kernel
source I had downloaded, built and then install, and reboot twice
and viola it worked.<br>
Now to try getting the same DVD in the usb attached bluray drive to
work.<br>

You've probably done this but, have you region set the drive

If it s new drive it may not be set (windows seems to set it
automatically)</p>
<p>I have fallen back to try and get my older DVD drive working
and then the dvd disc in the bluray drive. I cannot recall if
the region was ever set (how can I test that under linux?),
interestingly vlc plays the disc perfectly!<br>
