The last few nights a program we have been watching (about 1/2 hour
after it started recording) has ended abruptly. The schedule is red &
the status says the tuner is still active, but the record finish counter
on the screen isn't incrementing. The recording can be watched up to
that finish time shown. This has started spontaneously happening.
LUCKILY for me we'd nearly caught up on the live broadcast of Coro, so a
quick change to a FTA box we have saved my bacon - only missed 3 mins of
program, but the WAF crashed.
Has anyone got similar issues? is one of my cards dying do you think?

It's myth's internal anti-coro measure.
Bbelieve me it'l only take you a year or two to be completely weaned.
My ears don't even p\prick up when the coroers at work discuss it, and
I've been off it for 18 months.
Seriously though, what does the backend log say?

There are a couple of HUGE sections of the "should be local but it
can't be found" (sounds like me when the wife has been in the shed!) in
the current log file, but nothing I understand that will stop a program
recording.
The logs used to be around 130k or so, but the last few have been 20 +
meg each, so something has happened. There's been no fiddling for
months - so it's not something I've done.
