Gentlepeople,<div><br></div><div>I have an old Sky dish which I reasonably sure I can get Freeview on, but I would like to get the Optus D1 Australian channels as well.</div><div><br></div><div>Has anyone succeeded in doing this?</div>
<div><br></div><div>Can I do it with an old Sky dish (is it big enough)?</div><div><br></div><div>I believe Freeview and Sky are horizontally polarized and the Australian are vertically polarized. Do I need other hardware, i.e. a new LNB? Will an ordinary satellite card such as a Nova S, TeVii 420 or Technotrend S-1401 work?</div>
<div><br></div><div>There are 3 freeview DVB-T multiplexes. How many multiplexes will I end up with if I succeed in getting the Australian channels (SBS and ABC)?</div><div><br></div><div>I don't yet have the hardware, I want to work out what I need before I start.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thanks.</div><div><br></div><div>Brendan</div>
