My box is an old AGP card with a DVI-HDMI adapter, and I see nothing on<br>
the HDMI until X and mythtv start.<br>

The TV is a cheap 720p LCD that does 1366x768 from the VGA connector, or<br>
unknown x720 on the HDMI connector. So I lose a bit off the sides on<br>
HDMI too.<br>

Question is, what would a video card with HDMI output display during<br>
boot, and what resolution is it?<br>
<br></blockquote><div><br>I am using a Zotac ION MB and I get the full boot sequence on my TV connected via HDMI but this is not a card but on-board graphics. It displays in 1080p as far as I can tell, probably auto-senses from the TV (a Sony 32" full HD TV).<br>
