</div>I take it you are using the myth:// protocol to access recordings made<br>
by the myth backend? Have you tried moving a recording to a location<br>
where XBMC can access directly (ie a directory) and see if it can play<br>
the file back? That way you isolate the myth backend as a potential<br>
problem.<br>

I also make use of mythbox which has a nice feature where if you tell it where the recordings are stored it will access the file directly. Have also set-up direct access within XBMC, all three give slightly different results. After my investigations yesterday I think that it is more likely to be something up with XBMC but l still need to do more investigations. If the files weren't so big I would be happy to make them available for others to play with.<br>
</div></div><br>How much of an influence does signal quality have on all of this? I can probably improve my aerial position to get a better signal, I do see the occasional artifacts on some recordings. <br><br>Thanks<br><br>
