<br>dpkg --list | grep myth<br><br>This will list all the installed packages relating to mythtv.<br><br>Look for a package<br><br>libmyth-0.21-0<br><br>This is the library for the mythtv version 0.21. It does not appear to<br>
be uninstalled during the upgrade and messes up the 0.22 programs.<br><br>If you have it uninstall it by typing:<br><br>sudo apt-get remove libmyth-0.21-0<br><br>This should remove the library.<br><br>Reboot and see if this works.<br>

<div>Thanks for the advice, I did have this happen but took care of it manually effectively in the same way you described (used Synaptic instead). So unless its left some files somewhere I think I've managed to get that one sorted.</div>
