Back on topic - my new skystar2 is working damn nicely. The old PVR150
are awful by comparison.

So, to record from the other transponder I'll need a second DVB-S / DTH
card, and a signal splitter, correct?

Should I search out a second skystar or get something else?
Any other gotchas?

I would seriously recommend getting a dual DVB tuner. I'm not sure about DVB-S, but for DVB-T I use a Hauppuage Nova-T-500 which a dual tuner card. Well worth the extra $$$.
