Here's what I mean by half working.
1. Initially I set up the system, and I was experiencing the visual
corruption you refer to.

2. About 2 weeks ago, I upgraded to 185.18.14 (or whatever it is) and
new distribution of your code and I found I could no longer change
channel on the HD tuner. I always just get a "problem encountered"
message after a timeout. Since I have to view live TV using the SD
tuner, I can live with this.

One of the general things you will find about mythtv devs is that they don't care much for livetv "thats not how its designed to be used, record what you want to watch and watch it when you have the time, its a new paradigm, change your life forever blah blah blah."

Therefore live channel change issues are likely to receive less attention than, say, a nice new theming engine :)
